The requirements on how to be eligible for SSS maternity benefits are as follows:
- You are a female member of SSS. It means you have an active SSS number. If you are not a member yet, go to your nearest SSS branch to apply.
- SSS requires members to have an SSS online acccount. To do this, go to sss.gov.ph and register! Click here to know how to register SSS online account.
- You you have paid at least 3 monthly contributions within the 12 months immediately BEFORE your Semester of Delivery/Contingency (childbirth or miscarriage). What is semester of contingency?
- Notify SSS of your pregnancy. To do this, you can go to your online SSS account. Click here to know how to submit maternity notification.
